Dennis “Dennie” Fry

Being outdoors is nothing new to Dennis “Dennie” Fry. He grew up on a farm in Hasting, Minnesota and spent eight years as maintenance director for two other camps before coming to Camp Knutson in 2013.

He has also worked in construction building and remodeling homes, and spent many years as a facilities manager at a church. Stepping into his position as Facilities Manager at Camp Knutson was a natural transition.

Dennie is delighted to work with others who share the Camp K mission. He says,

“It is an honor to be able to help create a fun and safe place for campers to come to and enjoy God’s Creation without their extra pressures of life. Hearing the camper’s laughter and the stories from their experience is inspiring.”

Dennie and his wife, Sheila, have two grown sons.
