Options to Stay Connected: Free and Low-Cost Internet Access

Staying connected is more important than ever. At PICS (Partners in Community Supports), we want to make sure that you’re informed about free and low-cost options for internet access at home and in the community.
Below is a list of options for lowering internet costs and finding affordable computers:
- Spectrum Internet Assist Program: Qualified households can save on high-speed internet, receive a free internet modem and connect to in-home Wi-Fi service at $5/month.
- PCs for People: Provides affordable refurbished computers and computer repair as well as low-cost mobile internet for eligible individuals.
- FCC Affordable Connectivity Program: Provides monthly discounts toward internet service for eligible households and a one-time discount to purchase a computer or tablet.
- Lifeline Assistance Program: Provides a monthly discount on qualifying telephone and/or broadband internet service from participating providers.
