PICS family in the news: Boy with autism has verbal breakthrough thanks to 'Old Town Road'

Daniel, a PICS Participant, was recently featured on Fox 9 news because of a breakthrough thanks to the latest hit, “Old Town Road,” by Lil’ Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus. Daniel has autism and has been mostly non-verbal until his mother, Sheletta Brundidge, heard him singing the tune. “I started crying. The tears were flowing down my face,” Sheletta said.
