What to Expect
When you contact NuVantage, a benefits specialist will ask you a few questions to learn about your needs. You will then be connected with a NuVantage professional mental health counselor in your area.

- Children and teens: support and guidance for young people
- Compulsive behaviors, such as gambling, internet use or shopping
- Conflict resolution

- Parenting concerns: raising children and teens
- Pregnancy counseling (for women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy)

Your EAP benefits cover:

In-person counseling sessions with a professional and experienced counselor.

Unlimited access to online library of resources through the NuVantage Wellness Portal.
The number of covered counseling sessions varies depending on the type of support or counseling required and/or coverage offered by your specific EAP plan. Most plans cover three 50-minute counseling sessions per issue per year, although some employer plans may offer additional sessions.
