Reverse Host Home: Zach
Zach is excited to welcome a new provider into his home
Zach is looking for a provider to move into his home to support him.
Zachary is a young man surrounded by love. His parents decided to give him the chance to have his own home, allowing him to move out like his peers. Zach’s one-level home is in Aitkin, Minnesota, and has a beautiful deck surrounded by trees and wildlife.
Currently, Zach is sharing his home with Joanne. She is looking to retire and start a new journey, while staying in Zach’s life. We are hoping to find someone to share their life with Zach in his home as his Host Home provider.
The person who will live with Zach will have their own bedroom and bathroom. A second open bedroom is available if you have a family; otherwise, another person looking to be supported in a Host Home could live there. The provider would not work outside the home in addition to supporting Zach so that so they would be able to help him with his daily routines. Whether you are single, married, married with a family and looking to make a difference in his life and yours, this could be a great opportunity.
Zach loves his family more than anything! He spends quite a bit of time with his family: building Legos, going out to eat, going to MN sporting events, boating, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, and even trips to Disney! Zach’s parents live in Aitkin and are available to provide respite care.
Zach enjoys going out to eat, to the movies, plays, musicals, and miniature golfing. He loves to hang out at the house playing games (indoor and out), watching movies and relaxing. Zach is an active participant in Special Olympics. He is an avid Star Wars fan, Darth Vader being his favorite! There are days that he helps his parents at the Office Shop and North of Ordinary with the DAC in Aitkin.
While not every day is perfect, when is it for anyone? Zach needs support staying on schedule in the morning—he likes to take his time! It is very important to him to have a routine. The next provider that is on Zach’s team must have patience and a good sense of humor!
