Partner with a Community Residential Home

People with disabilities experience a sense of community and belonging while receiving the supports needed for comfort and safety in LSS's community residential homes.

Each person has their own bedroom, plus communal living spaces shared with two to four roommates, offering opportunity to socialize and develop friendships.

Feeling connected is important. We hope you will consider joining this community by becoming a home sponsor today.

Partnership Opportunities

In order to foster the development of community, we ask that all home sponsors commit to a yearlong sponsorship. Multiple sponsorship are available.

Prayer support:

Remember the home in prayer, lifting up those who live there as well as the staff.

Gift of support:

A generous sponsorship gift of $500 or more will be used to improve and maintain the community residential homes for people with disabilities and provide equipment, supplies and recreational and leisure opportunities.

Volunteering:

There are many opportunities to build community and make a difference as an individual or as a group volunteer. These might include driving people to church or community events, being a friend and stopping by for coffee, games or conversation, hosting holiday parties, birthday parties or backyard BBQs, or using your skills to help with simple home repairs, maintenance and landscaping.

Donation Drive:

Host a donation drive for much-needed supplies that help make a house a home, from cleaning and paper products, to pots and pans, towels and sheets.
