Dining Pricing
LSS Meals onsite pricing varies slightly by location as our cost to create a meal is $8.75.
How it works
To help offset costs, we ask for a suggested donation $5.00-$8.75 for each meal. (No one is denied service because of an inability to pay.)
Older adults aged 60 and older and their partners of any age are eligible to receive reduced meal pricing by completing and submitting a NAPIS form.
Friends, family members and grandchildren are always welcome!
Guest under 60 years of age: $8.75. Guests pay the full cost of the meal, which depends upon the location.
Children: $4.00 (half portion).
LSS Meals to Go
LSS Meals to Go is a convenient meal shipment option that is available statewide. Each shipment includes 14 frozen meals.
The private pay cost for those meals is $136.50 (about $9.75 per meal including free shipping).
The following waivers are accepted: Alternative Care (AC), Brain Injury (BI), Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI), Community Alternative Care (CAC), Development Disabilities (DD) and Elderly Waiver (EW). The cost of 14 frozen meals through the waivers are billed at the current federal or state rates established for that waiver. However, shipping is free!
SNAP Benefits
Th Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is a county-run, state-supervised Federal program that helps Minnesotans with low incomes get the food they need. It issues electronic food support benefits (EBT). LSS Meals accepts SNAP vouchers in lieu of a cash donation, and we can help you apply for SNAP benefits.
