Lisa and Mark Olson Ready to Support Someone by Each Putting Their Best Foot Forward
We are Lisa and Mark Olson, and we are excited to open our home to someone in need. Our home is at the end of a dead-end street. The neighborhood is very quiet, with friendly neighbors. There is a park and a fitness center in walking distance. We have access to Rainbow Rider in town, but we are also willing to provide transportation. We have a two-story home with a total of four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The person moving in with us would have their own private room and bathroom located on the second floor.
We are a quiet couple who enjoy spending most of our time at home, but you will also find us camping when we can. We enjoy visiting family and friends. Our other hobbies include watching movies and TV at home, shopping, gardening, walking and hiking, attending the theater and concerts, visiting restaurants, listening to music, photography, and reading.
We are a close family. We like to spend time with our adult children and grandchildren. We also enjoy visiting with our elderly parents. We share breakfast and supper together as a family. On the weekends, we like to stay home and hang out. We would also welcome the person’s family and friends to visit with them at our home or spend time together outside of the home.
Lisa has been a special education teacher for 30 years, and Mark has worked in the school system for 17 years as a custodian and chooses to be involved with students with disabilities. Having both been involved in education, we are ready to open our home and support someone by each putting our best foot forward. We have the ability to support a person and wish to make the transition as easy as possible.
