Safe and Healthy Relationships Guides
Youth Guide
This four-session guide is designed for middle school and high school youth, to be used in confirmation classes and youth groups. By engaging young people in learning and discussing safe and healthy relationships, they can gain lifelong skills to make safe and healthy choices for themselves.
Sessions include:
- Healthy Relationships
- Online Safety
- Understanding and Preventing Sexual Exploitation and Trafficking
- Making a Safety Plan and Resources
The sessions are interactive, using engaging activities, video and conversation to guide youth in understanding how they can engage in healthy friendships and dating relationships – all while reinforcing their value as a child of God.

Family Follow-up Resources
For each of the four sessions, there is a Family Follow-up resource to be provided for parents and caregivers. This gives family members an overview of what their child will be learning as well as discussion questions they may use at home. We hope these sessions open ongoing conversations within families to support their child’s development into safe and healthy relationships.
