Mya Conrad, an LSS case worker who works with survivors of sex trafficking, says that her work isn’t necessarily over at the end of the work day. If there is a crisis after normal work hours, she tends to it. Chad Larimer, and LSS Financial Counselor, hopes to be a “light at the end of a tunnel, not a train” for the people he supports!

The Duluth News Tribune reported that officials in Carlton County are leading efforts in suicide prevention. Kathy Hermes, whose Together for Youth programs in Greater Duluth and the Iron Range provide support to LGBTQ youth, applauded efforts to stem the tide of rising suicides.
